Jon Voight: Patriotism is American
Jon Voight’s talking about his father who had a bad back during WWII, tried to get inducted. He had a hard time because he couldn’t touch his toes. This had a great impression on the famous actor.
During the Vietnam War, America lost its patriotism.
March 29: I"m hoping the country will come together to honor our troops from the Vietnam War.
“It is very moving to me,” Voight said, getting emotional.
We are Move America Forward will ensure that day is remembered.
Voight is dedicated, emotional about the way our troops were treated in Vietnam.
“Perhaps I feel so much emotion . . . because I didn’t realize what was going on until the Vietnam War was over,” Voight said.
