WHAT: Troopathon, in partnership with the Sacramento Collaborative Courts, will host a special Operation Mail Call event to pack and ship care packages to U.S. troops deployed overseas—especially timely with recent U.S. military deployments and casualties tied to Operation Epic Fury.

A group from the Sacramento Collaborative Courts will join Troopathon volunteers at the Operation Center to fulfill care package requests from troops and their families. Using donated funds and supplies, the team will prepare and ship boxes via USPS to ensure deployed service members feel supported and remembered during this critical time.

This continues an 11+-year partnership where Collaborative Courts participants contribute community service hours by helping pack and ship packages—transforming lives through service while honoring those who serve our nation.

Media are invited for live shots, interviews with volunteers (including court participants, veterans, and Troopathon staff), visuals of packing/shipping in action, and opportunities to highlight how the public can still donate to Troopathon to keep the momentum going amid Operation Epic Fury and widespread American participation in supporting the troops.

WHEN: Thursday, March 12 - 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

WHO: Volunteers and participants from Sacramento Collaborative Courts (Veterans Treatment Court and related programs) Troopathon operations team and supporters. Potential interviews with court probation officers, veterans, and troop supporters.

VISUALS: Volunteers packing care packages with requested items (snacks, hygiene essentials, letters of support, etc.); Boxes being sealed, labeled, and prepared for USPS shipment; Group photos and activity shots of Collaborative Courts participants giving back; Displays of troop thank-you notes, American flags, and care package examples; Interviews with participants sharing why they support the troops

DONATION CALL: Troopathon continues to accept donations to fund more care packages. Thousands of Americans are stepping up amid Operation Epic Fury and ongoing deployments. Every contribution helps to send essential support to those serving far from home.
