Safe Credit Union Serving our Heroes
Once again Troopathon partner SAFE Credit Union helped us out with a generous donation to help us ship pack and ship out hundreds of our care packages waiting to go out to our deserving troops.
Members of the SAFE Credit Union VALOR ERG (Veterans And Loved Ones Resource Employee Resource Group) joined us in our warehouse to help ensure our most requested items like premium gourmet coffee, cookies, beef jerky, personal care items, candy and of course, personal notes of support can reach our service members.
SAFE Credit Union is a longtime Troopathon partner with the can-do attitude needed to help our troops receive care.
SAFE consistently demonstrates their long history of commitment to supporting our active-duty military and veterans. Founded by military personnel in the 1940s, SAFE continues to support today's heroes through initiatives like VALOR.
SAFE Credit Union's VALOR ERG is an employee resource group dedicated to supporting veterans and their families. VALOR provides career transition support for veterans and engages in community activities, such as organizing flag retirement drives. According to SAFE Credit Union, “We know the commitment it takes to serve our country, and we make a commitment to serve them in return. That’s why current military personnel and veterans are pillars of philanthropy for SAFE.”
Troopathon Supports USS Gerald Ford
The USS Gerald R. Ford is at the forefront of critical, dangerous strikes on Iran, and Troopathon has secured approval to support its crew with one thousand care packages. Thanks to you for assisting with our ongoing support mission for our sailors on the front lines facing increasing uncertainty and hostilities in the Middle East.
The Gerald R. Ford's crew is executing around-the-clock flight operations, supporting allied missions, and projecting American strength in an increasingly volatile situation. The pressure is real. The mission is constant. The need is now.
As one of the Navy’s most advanced and powerful aircraft carriers, the Gerald R. Ford is part of the huge build-up of forces in the region ahead of the strikes. Her crew operates around the clock in a high-stakes environment, projecting strength, supporting allied operations, and helping maintain stability in a volatile region.
The sailors aboard the USS Gerald Ford are standing watch far from their families, working long hours in uncertain conditions. A Troopathon care package — filled with the most requested items and a message of encouragement — does more than boost morale. It reminds them that back home, we have not forgotten.
Troops Seek Support and
Just how do we know who to send care packages to? It seems like it might be complicated, but we’ve been doing this for more than two decades, so we’ve developed systems that make it easy for troops to sign up and allow us to make sure they get much needed care packages without wasting shipments on troops who are no longer deployed.
Thanks to our innovative soldier sign up process we know which soldiers are waiting for packages, are currently deployed and are hoping to receive a Troopathon care package and note of support from someone they’ve never met like Maria from New Jersey or one of our many Veterans, like Stephen from Tennessee who served in the USAF and now wants to support our current generation of warriors.
We’ve learned a lot about troop support over the years; what travels well, how to pack as much as possible into our sturdy shipping boxes, how to figure out when our troops will be coming home so we efficiently deliver packages brimming with what our troops need and more importantly what they want and crave from home.
During that time, we have developed successful avenues to help our deployed soldiers receive packages from home. One of our most important and efficient tools we employ is our Soldier Sign Up page which allows our troops or their representatives like a family member, chaplain, or commander to sign up for packages through our secure Soldier Sign Up system.
Our Soldier Sign Up allows our soldiers to give us feedback and even include a photo if they wish. We thought you might enjoy hearing directly from our troops that have signed up through our Soldier Signup system. We hope you enjoy reading what our troops have to say as much as we did.
Bombas Socks Deliver Premium Comfort
Our troops work hard and their feet can take a real beating. From carrying back-breaking loads upwards of seventy pounds to logging far more miles than the average person can even imagine, our troops deserve a little pampering. That's why we've included high-quality Bombas socks in our care packages while supplies last.
Little luxuries that we take for granted, like plus new socks, can often be difficult for our deployed troops to access that’s why Troopathon delights in offering premium Bombas socks in our current care package offerings to help ensure our brave warriors enjoy some of the comforts of home.
March Photo of the Month from USS Gerald Ford
The crew of the USS Gerald Ford is swiftly approaching the longest deployment for a US aircraft carrier since Vietnam having been deployed since June 2025 having been involved in operations in the Atlantic and Mediterranean and now heading to the Middle East.
“ Being deployment for up to a year is pretty stressful on them. I think everybody would really appreciate it (support)in the IT division.” according to a request we received for support from a family member of one of the IT crew currently serving.
